Given my 2 past failed attempts to make the event, I'm hesitant to say I'm coming, but we'll see how things go.... I started the boat today for the first time in 4 months and heard a strange knocking noise and thought, here we go again... but I think it's just a stuck exhaust valve(the joys of saltwater boating), so maybe no biggy.

I'm hoping the roads get dry enough soon to get my car to the body shop to restore it after significant flying rock damage and before the Rockport drive. I'm hoping Sean is able to fix a couple of things that make my dash light flash and my antenna fail to raise. I'm hoping my heart doctor can get things beating right again. But, I AM coming, no matter what!
I've just reserved a second room at the hotel. If all goes well, y'all will get a chance to meet an unusually tall, interesting, intelligent and attractive lady. If all does not go well it will just be a dinged up old car and a dinged up old driver, still happy to be there and see you and your cars.

I probably should make sure Roger is bringing Zane before I bring this lady along. Roger has the brains and gift of gab to worry me. Hopefully, though, she prefers men in long pants. Even if they only own one 928.

Roger, you and Sean are on the boat if I make it. Not the best time of year for fishing, but it's always fun to just be out on the water, and there might be some bull Reds still hanging around. I'm off all next week so hopefully I'll get it sorted out.

Bummer.
I'm driving down to Texas around the 20th to visit the kids in Midland but the snow is just melting here in Oil City , PA if I can get te 89 out from my snowplow buried and sloped garage driveway ...maybe.
Otherwise its the Murano and a no show for me.
Have fun either way.

Jim, I'm now coming single. And I don't care what Mercedes reports about my behavior. There's nobody left to hear such a report with any concern.

Caravan to Spring Fling!!!
Mercedes can't be bought, but she is a Daddy's girl so will keep secrets for Roger.
On another topic.
Those of you wishing to caravan down to Rockport with us should plan to meet at the Home Depot/Jack in the Box at highway 35W and Sycamore School Road. Meet at 9:00 am for a 9:30 departure. Have a full tank of gas and your FRS radio.
