Never strike in anger.
They are so innocent when they are just sitting there in the garage .

I got my start working on Honda's, and they still amaze me what the Japanese auto makers can squeeze into every nook and cranny.

Based on this experience, once I started to get my hands dirty on the 928 I became convinced one of the 928 engineers must have been named Klaus Honda.
German mother, Japanese father.

Every time you come across something on the 928 and ask yourself "How the hell did they fit that in there???" you can be sure Klaus Honda designed that part.

Klaus must have done some freelance moonlighting for Isuzu.

Just finished a job on my '01 Vehicross, and I scored high marks once again during my weekends' advanced four-letter-word garage terminology refresher course.

Working within the theoretical framework of Murphy's Law, we find that engineering design in general tends to follow two main tendencies: to make things difficult for production and impossible for service.

10mm ratchet wrench will be your best friend while doing this particular job.

Same constraints on my Mistu VR4, except that I think they placed all the pinch welds with sharpened edges directly across from the R&R fasteners...

Of course Porsche built these cars with such a high degree of engineering prowess so as to be nearly completely dependable, and thus building the car around bolt #10 securing the opg, was no bfd. Then there's the crossmember...and head studs....and washer pump...
