Very nice Rob, insane nice is this car now . I remember when this car was for sale and I was telling my mom about it because she lived nearby (IL). Had no idea it would become a local car and it would turn out so nice from when I was looking at the craigslist ad. Every time I see it at the store I just can't get over it. One of my favs

Mark got a TB tension warning at high rpms a couple weeks ago, 600 miles after the engine refresh. I finally got a chance to retension the TB today- at the start it measured 4.0 to 4.1 belt units,
After is 5.25. No tension warnings during a brief stress test afterwards. 164204 miles.

So one of the few things that have been bugging me about the car was the wheels. I had a set refinished but they really did a lousy job. I was going to take a different set to the people that did Williams wheels but for them to match the finish I gave them a brand new 7.5x16 I had in stock. Actually I had 2 new front wheels in stock so I had them refinish 2 rears and the match was nearly perfect.

[QUOTE=Rob Edwards;12182184]Rumors are true- thrashed yesterday to replace the leaking rear main seal, which I had replaced 12 miles ago but buggered during the install, and in the process discovered the car had a GTS release bearing and guide tube but an -07 release arm, so I swapped in an -09 release arm and a fresh friction disc while I was in there.
Got the car presentable to drop off at Mark's tonight- still needs a good paint detailing and chip repair, and the PSD pump is still on the bench, and, and, and... But for now, it's safe in Mark's garage while I work on the GTS this week.
Paint detail and chip repair ever ever taken care of ?
Correct rims look great. Any good exterior pics of this beauty ? TIA T

The 18" phone dial was here for a quick test-fit on my GTS to make sure it clears the GTS caliper (which it did) and then on the Zombie to see if it clears its GT-1 calipers (it didn't). We test-fit it for fun on the back of Minerva, then it went back to Jim for stress testing.

New addition
Welcoming The GT to it's new home! I can't be more excited than when I saw this thing roll off the trailer. Unfortunately its pouring rain today and that's my kind of luck but she is sexy when wet!
A very well done job Rob!
