Just pull the motor. Way more opportunity to clean that way and do it right with a lot less swearing.

Heaviest radiator I've ever lifted. And the most aluminum fin corrosion I've ever seen, can only imagine how much sand is in the A/C condensor.

No leaks but I managed to break the drain plug and the top bleed nipple....

Doesn't look very good but OTOH it doesn't leak- it ran just fine from 928Intl to here, it can only run cooler with air actually passing through it....

 

This is true. night and day difference. hows the condenser?
