Default New 928 links on website

Hi everyone,

I added 928 links to my website. Could a few of the experts on the board take a look (particularly the intake and TB/WP links) and give me suggestions? I don't want to be putting something on the inter web that is incorrect! :-)

Thanks to all in advance.

Intake 86.5

Timing Belt/Water Pump 86.5

CE Panel Cleaning '87

Electroplating Tips

Power Window Refresh

Thanks for sharring Scott.

Great job.
It will be very useful I'm sure for many here including me.

It's because of members like you that Rennlist is a must for any 928 owner.

Many thanks again.

It's going in my "maintenance procedures list" for sure.

I'm not a mechanic. I only try little jobs and send the big stuff to the shop that's been repairing this car years before I got it.

That being said; this is a terrific set of how to do it jobs. Bonus for me is that I have the same car.

Great Job!!!!

Hi guys, thanks for looking this over! If you find any mistakes (and I am sure there are plenty) please let me know and I'll have them fixed!

I'm going to do the CD refresh someday, so thanks. The plating - that looks a little frightening.

Incidentally, you might be interested in my French horn case:

I have an older horn - fixed bell - that will fit nicely in the back of my 928. No photo yet.

I like your electroplating page. I have the Gateros kit (http://www.gaterosplating.co.uk/Zinc-Plating-kit.php) but it looks very similar. FWIW, I would consider adding at the end of that page Dr. Bob's advice to hit pieces with a thin clear coat after chromate (wait 24-hrs to dry before spraying.) It adds another sacrificial layer on top of the zinc/chromate. Again great site.

I did not know about this, but I am adding this tip now, for the site, but also for myself as well- thank you for this great tip!

Scott, did my fuses and relays while the panel was still attached, you have motivated me to go whole hog and Deoxit everything. You are approaching Dwayne's level of worship..

Thank you marine928.

However, if you compare Dwayne's TB/WP thread with mine, you will see that he took 25 times more care and was far more precise that I was...

The DeoxIT did 'improve' the voltmeter reading in the instrument panel, if that will be of some satisfaction to you!
