Default supercharger intake

It would be of great help to me to have pics posted or detailed explanation of 85-86 supercharged cars' air intake plumbing. It just looks like too big of an item trying to fit too small a space. My interest is a Murph type, not a DR type. Thank you in advance.

The best way to supercharge an 85/86 is the stage 3 Murf928 system with the intercooler.

I have the same intercooler on my 81, it's an awesome piece.

The easiest way is to instal a 3.5" pipe right on top of the MAF. You can get an elbow like that at the local Mack dealer. Search my name for the DIY supercharger thread and the link to the build pctures.

Default right

Recomend phone call, I pinged in via the website's email requesting current output/price/availability info, no response.

I will say that, for those not at Frenzy, that one of our attendees delivered a tech-ish session on his experience installing a Murf on his S4, and a consistent theme throughout his commentary was the great personal support from Tim.

After checking my sent file, I'm wrong. I was sure I sent that msg, but apparently my wiser voice on the left intervened. Sorry about the misinfo.

I'll try and post a pic of what I'm after. I have a Vortech supercharger that has an oval metal inlet to the supercharger, a flexible hose runs a few feet to a K&N filter. I'm trying to figure where to run the hose and filter. I would like cooler air from in front of the radiator...but how do you get the filter in front and still connect to supercharger???
