Question Fuel Injector Impedence (in ohms)

I have not found an exact answer to this question using the search:

What is the impedence range for fuel injectors for 32v cars?

I have seen injectors on Summit Racing with a range between 11-13 ohms and 14.4 specifically. I have a set of M-9593-C302 19lb injectors which appear to now be obsolete. Nothing wrong with them of course, but wondered often about impedence. My application has a range of 11-18 ohms.

I keep reading about high impedence, but what is high impedence for our cars? How would an S4 run with a 24lb injector with 11-14 ohm range, or 14.4?

They are typically 16 ohms but I don't know the tolerance on that. Anything from 11 to 18 ohms would be fine for our "high impedance" LH 2.3 control units.

Low impedance injectors as used on the earlier L-Jet cars have a much lower range of resistance. Something like 2-3 ohms IIRC.

You can measure the resistance across the two electrical terminals of the injector. If the resistance is between 1.5 and 4.0 Ohm you have low impedance injectors. If the resistance is between 8 and 16 Ohm you have high impedance injectors.
