That's really wide.
For the width maximum it's all about the tire. You can find the specs for many tires on-line at www.tirerack.com. For actually mounting it to the car it's about wheel offset that brings the outer lip in.
If you have the wheels, mount one and take some measurements.

Which Shark are you asking for? The GTS will take 315 (I think). 85-86 with spacers removed fit 295's...depends on how much to want to roll the fenders to get any wider. S4/GT will take 295's with minimal fender rolling...but same applies, depends on how much to want to roll the fenders to get any wider

315 on my 11's on the rear of the GTS - no issues
Jim M has the same on his GTS

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

As Roger stated with GTS fenders and no spacers 315 fit very well. BUT, as long as the wheels have the correct offset. My wheels have a 41mm back space, and give good clearance on both sides of the tire with Porsche wheel well liners installed.

8" back spacing will fit 315 x 30s but 305 x 35 are a better fit. slight rolling needed. this is the rim you need, no question. 8" backspacing. any less, you need more rolling.... a lot in most cases. any more and you rub on the lower control arms. done this for many many years.
you can put a 335 on that rim as I do, but I had to slightly blow out the fender with the bat and paint. AND I use the 17mm spacer as well.
