who makes the best ECU performance chip for the 928? There's even one on eBay for $36 that claims 36HP increase. Anyone try this item out?

I have a box full of those **** chips from when I either put in Sharktuner PEMS or put stock chips back in.

I would be really concerned about compatibility (never mind the validity of the manufacturer's claim).

If you can't get the use of a Shark Tuner go with PorKens chips

For an S3: Porken's
For an 87+: OE Or Sharktuned (most-likely Porken's too; haven't tried them yet.)

Oops. My bad. I wasn't aware of general availability of his S4 chips.

PORKEN'S or shark tuner customs. Everything else is junk. Most are just copies of the old autothority maps with a lot of advance.

So, what is possible with the PorKens chips? Can you get 20 or 30 HP above the stock 316HP? I'm assuming that the best improvement a chip can assist with is with the addition of better intake and exhaust improvements. If anyone with a Shark Tuner is near the San Francisco area, please PM me. I'm considering getting a Supercharger too later next year. I can ask about that in another post.
