Default Factory stickers in drivers side door sill

If a car gets damaged or repainted, can those stickers that are lockated in the drivers side door sill be replaced? Can you order those from Porsche?

Just curious. If I ever have my car redone, I might include that area, as there are a few little chips, probably from the PO letting the seat belt go with the door open...

Yes, I'm currrently having my 911SC redone. They stripped everything to bare metal and tried to save the one with the VIN number on it and couldn't. I called Brumos Porsche and asked about getting that replaced and they said yep...just have to show proof of ownership like registration and such and they can be created. Haven't done it yet as the car is still in the body shop. Also called Stoddards to double check and they said the same thing.

Yes Nicole, when I did the complete on the PRDATR I tried pretty hard to retain those stickers but they sadly got trashed. Sunset replaced mine just by doing the same as Jim said...provide proof of ownership of the car. It took about three weeks for my new ones to come.

I need those too. The PO with my car must have tried to clean the area where the stickers are located. I have the stickers, but no writing on them... or should I say, very little writing on them.

I would also be interested in the ones that are in the engine compartment. Namely, the ones on the radiator. Mine are completely gone.

Cool, I am missing my paint color sticker (seems to have been pulled of looking at the mess left behind). Sure wish there was a Porsche dealer around here sometimes !!

Chris I would bet that if you contacted the dealer by phone and requested to fax your information to them they would accomodate you at the address listed on the title you fax to them.

Yes Porsche has the capability of making a duplicate vin# decal for the door jamb ...it often takes several weeks and you must provide suitable documentation . Most other decals such as those on the radiator have been discontinued by Porsche and longer available . I think you can still get some of the underhood emissions stickers as well from a Porsche dealer .

Not sure on 928 stickers..but I also replaced all engine compartment decals on my 911SC during it's restoration. Just get the part numbers and order away (not cheap, i'd guess my average price was around 10 bucks per decal)

My 91s4 must of had stickers on the inside left and right lips of the rear hatch, close to where the hatch shocks are. They were gone when I got the car, but the old dry sticky stuff remains.

Anyone know what these stickers were?

It is really very sick when you sit around worrying about stickers that you never saw. I must get another hobby.

I believe those were teflon stickers that should keep the hatch from squeaking. I don't have them either...
