Removeing the a/c line.
How do you remove the line between the receiver dryer, and the expansion valve?
There is a rubber part near the radater, I want to have it out, so I can replace it with new barrier hoses. I've got a guy that can uncrimp, and recrimp the ends, np. I just need to get the line out.
The problem is it's dirictly attached to the steel line that goes to the expansion valve. It winds it way through the engine compartment, and I'm realy not keen on takeing fuel lines apart, and a few other things.
Anyways, any suggestions?
Thanks.

ViriBus,
Shop manual shows it being removed from above, with the hood removed. It's an old pre-S4 procedure, doesn't discuss the rear A/C split line, like I have.
I'd say that that smaller line with the hose could be flexed enought to bring it out enought to make the hose repair in place ( fans removed on the S4).
