What about in January, after the holidays?
We could meet in the morning for cars and coffee (Pancakes & Porsches?), then roll to a tech session, or maybe a local attraction of interest (Simeone Auto Museum, American Helicopter Museum). Then, dinner and drinking, followed by hotel or home (depending on the blood level in your alcohol system and your mileage).
Call it the "Philly Phrenzy".
Who's in?

I'm going to try to down load my Summit Point gopro video. I'm a complete newb at this so not sure if it will work. It is about 10 mins long, and turned out pretty good.
edit: no joy. I can email this to Bob or JP, and they can upload it.

Funny thing happened on the way home. Took hellacious hours to get back to NYC. All was fine till I got deep into the NJ Turnpike section of I-95. The express /car only lanes were closed so NJTurnpike was operating at 1/2 capacity. The second crawling 10mph jam looked like it might be a long one and a rest stop came up.
I ducked out to stretch my legs and patience. Saw quite a few highly modified rides in the rest stop parking lot. I finally spoke with a gentleman/dude who had propped open the hood to cool his Subie (Subaru). Wow, lots of chrome under that hood (you really appreciate how long the 928 hood is when you see how short the Subaru hood is). All the that chrome in the engine bay shone like a kid with fresh metal braces. Some seriously large metal tubing in there to carry forced air to the flat 4.
I asked if all the cars had come from the track. He said they were heading north after the Ocean City, MD event. I had totally forgotten about that event after having read of the warning of prowling police near Ocean City on Rennlist forum. I told him the clerk at the A-Plus said the traffic jam ends soon. Bade him farewell and wished coolness to his motor.
Walked back to other end of the rest stop to fetch my 928, and by the time I got to the rest stop exit ramp, the 4 wide line of cars queuing to get back on I-95 had dissipated. So I laid into 2nd gear to blast up the ramp.
Bwaaaaaaah, brap brap brap brap POP. (gotta to love that LH overrun and fuel dump into hot exhaust). Bwaaaaaaaah.
The traffic had eased and we were going 20mph and sometimes faster with just a few very slow bits. I had merged into a few pockets of modified cars from the Ocean City meet and it felt like a slow motion '2 Fast 2 Furious' with some loud rowdy exhaust chorus. One of the modifieds came by me and blipped his throttle a few times. But tired/too thick me didn't blip my V8 in response. Duh.
Soon after we all got past the logjam and traffic returned to speed, I didn't follow the modified cars and stayed around 10+ speed limit. It was enough paying the NJTurnpike toll and I didn't feel like I need to contribute more to NJ coffers with their speeding fines. (Hi Wayne. Can't believe you got caught twice on NJ Turnpike few years ago. )
Then a white Subie pulls by and waves. Wait a second, when I blasted out of the rest stop there was a white Subie waiting by the side. OMG, it was the same guy I had spoke to and he figured out who was in the light blue/green 928. Very cool. I waved back. Guess someone appreciates that snarly V8.
And it was sunset by the time I got to the Wegmans supermarket in Woodbridge NJ. Bertrand got back to Montreal long before I got back into NYC. I want a Heli-carrier.
Wegman's parking lot after long long drive
Was good seeing everyone. It was a great Frenzy, despite the lobster red sunburned arms. Just wish I had found the 928 contingent at Katie's Cars and Coffee.
I'll post a few Katie's pics after I'm done sorting through the Frenzy pictures.
Thanks for reading.

GregN off on the Fun Run
And Stan's off
Panning shots are fun. Hectic when there's a line of 928's all chasing after each other.
Only shot I flubbed was when Brian lit his tires on the SuperCharger car. Didn't realize it was his car
till i had started tracking the motion and didn't account for the extra 200 ft-lbs of torque.
What a nice Holiday Inn parking lot
Shiny belly jewelry on that Turquoise
Supercharger beast of the North
They matched the cones to his wheels
Anyone seen my beer?
Wasn't there a famous movie where the guy goes:"Stella! Stella!"
Is this what he was pining for?

I am so glad that Ernest (and other too!) are at all the Frenzy GTG's. I so rarely take any kind of photos then I look back and think how awesome it would be to HAVE those photos.
I really appreciate it Ernest, that was a great story about your trip home too, always appreciate the camaraderie and the fact that no headlight has ever taken out my radiator thanks to you at my first Frenzy in 2004.

Thanks Ernest for all the pics and the animated Gif loops (nice app you got there). You do a super great job every year my friend.
Thank you to all who posted pics and vids.
It brings back wonderful memories of the great event that is Frenzy.
Can't wait for Frenzy 19!
Only 358 days to go.
Just before leaving Harrisburg Friday morning with Luc and Bob. Gorgeous weather.
Brett's great tech session on how to supercharge the 928. All three tech sessions were very interesting. A big thanks to Brett, Darryl and Bruce.
Twins 928's!

Banquet rocked
Saturday was capped (officially) with a fantastic banquet at the Holiday Inn.
Great food. Fast service. And good conversations.
The Holiday Inn kitchen did not disappoint.
Banquet Conversations
Awards Speech
Christian wins.
Glenn takes Hi-Mileage Award. Sorry Roger. Must be Driven to event.
Old Boy. The car. Not the couple.
Youth Award. Finally. Someone under 40.
Engage Nerd mode.
Kev attacks with Wolverine Criss-Cross attack. I believe this was Before the
extra libations in the parking lot.
Kevin X
And everyone had that red glow not from my camera. It's that late September Frenzy Sunburn.
Would Hawaiian Tropic or Neutrogena sponsor Frenzy with a small packet of SPF 50 lotion in our welcome packs in the future??
PS. Saturday was too short. Even with the extension of early morning visit to Katie's Cars and Coffee. The 928 Weekend needs an extra day. Or 2.

awesome Otto; damn, you can hear Blumaxx from back there!
I'm still struggling with how to get Bob V my gopro footage. It turned out pretty good too.
