I am laughing going through this thread and playing "Where's Waldo" with my broken down Helga. Loads of video, pictures, center stage or the side of the highway.

I swear she is sentient and has a personality. She just wanted all of your attention...and boy did she get it!

So sad to have missed that pizza box story, but glad you have the box as a memento like I have that crushed relay.

it seemed as though one of the people up in the tower by the track entrace was taking pics as the line of 928s first assembled and then headed out for the parade lap. Maybe they were for personal use, though?

We should've set up Ann with some equipment!

I'm pretty sure that's almost exactly what Pete said. I was there, but not when he flagged down the Pizza Guy near the entrance.

Wayne did really order 2 Pizzas. I left after the Heisted Pizza so I don't know if they ever got the other 2.

Kevin, good job setting up and remembering to start the GoPro! Forgetting to start the GoPro after all the excitement of getting it set up is the common newbie error (ask me how I know )

I bet you a that there was at least one professional photographer out there capturing the impressive line of Sharks. Probably the guy you saw in the tower. These guys print out their shots on-site and exhibit them for sale during and after races and events. You can also pay a bit less for a digital copy on a flash drive.

I'll see if I can dig up the name of one of the photographers who frequents these events and see if he was there on 928.

Second time around i stayed away,but it was a different driver. Third time around all tho he had the right room number he refused to give us the Pizza. Special instructions from his manages i guess

And they also send one to Wayne at his room and he just ignored him
