Nokia phones (Windows Phone 8) have this nifty little app that makes animated Gif loops where you can freeze part of the frame. Called a Cinemgraph.
Posting a few links to the Nokia page of Frenzy animated loops as a test. The images are a bit large and unwieldy for some reason.
Great time, could the weather have been any more perfect? For Virginia, I mean...Varying degrees of sunburn for all...
Parade lap was terrific, just tried to latch onto the bumper cover in front of me, mock the track-line and hang on....fortunately, it was a driver who's experience and line I had confidence in (Thanks, Stan). Some "parade"- just about the ideal first taste of "track time" for me.
Thanks ALCON, esp Greg and Kevin and Ernest! Getting pretty stealthy with those vid/GIFs~~

cool Earnest. Yes, you can shave using Rick's car (Wyattsride) as the mirror, and Boomer and Baby Jack are the official Frenzy dogs (because nobody else brings one).
My Son and I got to Summit Point late but got in the 2 final parade laps with the group.
Anyone know who was piloting the 997 at the end of the pack?
I ask because I was so impressed with my old 928, it hung with that 997 accelerating down the short straights and into the turns.
It wasn't pulling away much at all from us that i could tell.
I'd love to know if he or she was pushing it hard like i was.
Man that was fun.
Hi all, I reiterate what everyone else is saying, great event, great info, great food, great guys and gals and that equals a great time. I am ready for next year! Sorry I had to cut short the Fun Run as I had an engagement back home by 6. So for grins I recorded our interesting attempt to get to the 1st way point of the Fun Run,,, do the video below is of us on 66... crazy,,, but kinda fun actually. It ends with us stopping after a road closure to decide to go back on 66 and try to get there....lol......a LOT more hectic than the Fun Run itself I am sure.
Yes I believe you are right, I watched it again and checked the road signs. I said 66 because I think the vast majority was on 66 and then when we got off to hit the closed road,,,maybe he can corroborate. I hit the record button I think 4 times and pulled them all together (in order I hope) to make a quick video. So it would make sense that 28 is in the beginning.
I loved Frenzy and so glad I finally got to drive my car (it sits most of the time) and got to hang out and meet online friends in real life. This group of owners and enthusiasts is excellent. Thanks to everyone for your kind hospitality and warm welcome. Made new friends and put the RL handles to the names...
Here's the Southern VA/NC contingent caravanning home...

Awesome video Michael, it was great meeting you. We'll definitely have to caravan back up again next year!
Need some action footage, daggnabbit!
Though I'm guessing-- and its just a guess-- probably not from Sean's bday observances....
Is there a central POC to flow all the ad-hoc (928) vids to?
I'm bandwidth constrained, so a final aggregate thumb drive vid file or DVD or something has appeal.
Really wish we had some folks trackside for the 'parade' lap, seemed there were some PCA folks taking a few stills, hopefully sound/vid too.
Kevin set up my GoPro in the 88 track car for the Summit Point laps. There's about a half an hour of footage that came out pretty well as he hung behind Bob's red GT (who got tail footage himself).
I'm still editing it but should have something decent up on YouTube by tomorrow or so.
Fraggle shows off the rare 928 cargo van prototype... and the resilience of the human body... Bertrand tries out the "electrischekuhlerfahrrad".... Blumaxx interior... The Turq inside.... and the Frenzy 18 sticker...

Where's the one showing Roger/Jim and I standing against the wall. I think was drinking something.
I see Jason's car on the side of the road at (:43) . Isn't that 28 south?
Fun Runs are Fun until someone looses an eye or the group gets split up and doesn't know where to go. Then it's a Frustrating Run.......
HA! That was me! It was 28 South. If you look closely, you can see s puddle under my car. That's not coolant or gas; that me pissing my pants from being stuck!
