forgot to add - we had an epic impromptu tech session with the great minds of rennlist - Sean, MrMerlin, Kevin, Jim, ELgreco, among others - in the parking lot party Saturday night. Jason - how was the ride home?
They ride was fantastic. Only issue was that the ac/heatng fan wasn't working, but I had the sunroof open, the windows down, and she purred all the way home. And once I got home, I tested her out on short trips as well, and no other issues. I soldered the tach wire back, and she's as good as she can be right now. Looking forward to getting here computer, check valve seals and other assorted bits fixed. But till then, she back!
While the whole ordeal was unnerving, I can only look back on it and smile, feeling grateful for your help, support and friendship. It was the best of what Frenzy is all about. And I thank you. All of you.
And by the way, I am keeping that crushed 53 relay. It is a cherished memento now. I may bring it back to the next Frenzy!
Didn't I have a picture of 'The Good. The Bad. The Ugly against that same glass wall last year?
For such a motley crew, we clean up very well. And Holiday Inn must love us to give us place of honor at their 'Breakfast room'
Banquet Begins.
And don't kids make the best co-pilots for the Fun Runs
You didn't know Porsche made a rear-engined version, did you?
Rear Engined 928
We'll get this fixed. Come hell or high water
Whoooo. This is 108 Octane, right?
We've created a Monster
Oh please Nobody bring another Kuehler Racer to Frenzy next year. OR you know there will be serious wheel to wheel racing at the 2nd Inaugural KRL, Keuhler Racing League.
Imagine 2 of these zipping around the HI parking lot in anger. I hear I left the party early and missed the first crash at Nascar Turn 4. Dang.
Wow, what a great Frenzy! As Rick say every year 'best Frenzy ever!'.
Thank you Greg, Kevin and Bruce for getting the Frenzy beast up and running! Thanks Darryl once again hosting our motley crew!
The 928's were as choice as always. And their pilots and co-pilots were the best of all!
Great to see my old Michigan peeps in attendance this year... and the Texas flood too. I enjoyed catching up with ya'll.
Great to make new friends, and seeing my NOVA friends once again.
Whatta supergroup of 928'rs!
Great pics on your blog Jim! But, I wasn't behind Ed on the parade laps at Summit. I was in front of Beerfish (he couldn't catch me!!) and behind I think Steve (RMBLFSH) and Stan in his Euro was in front of him.
Where's that pic of the black car (what you thought was my car, maybe it's not) and the tire wall. That was very cool.
Great to get together with you again Jim. Make sure you have Ed contact me when you are visiting Pittsburgh again.

Will do, Rick. Great catchin' up with the Pittsburgh crew too! How could I forget ya'll.
So we have another Black Super with chrome manholes... and all this time I thought that was you, ha!
I think I know this car. It has polished aluminum manhole covers, a nagrivator/cameraperson who is also an aspiring electrischekuhlerfahrrad racer and is actually dunkelblau and not black. I am flattered that it briefly appeared shiny enough to be confused with Rick's car.

Yep, on close up that's Otto's. Great looking Dark Blue not Black. Also, that's Robin's arm in the passenger's seat, holding on for dear life!
Jim the picture I'm taking about had the tire wall closer and to the right. It might have been just before turn 4? I'm bummed that it wasn't my car. Not that I don't love Otto's but I wish it was mine. It was a really cool shot.
"nagrivator" - OH ****, did that have me rolling when I reread your post Otto!!
