Default BSRD is moving!

We are moving to the Atlanta, Georgia area and will cease operations in September for a short time while we relocate. We expect to be back up selling our Super Bearings sometime in November. Torque Tube rebuild services might be delayed a bit longer.

Just wanted to make this announcement as a courtesy if anyone was planning on rebuilding their torque tube within this year.

Thank you,

Hi Constantine!

In fact, you will be getting a torque tube from me around Christmas!!! Look forward to getting one of those nice powder coated babies back by the early March time frame... Can I reserve a slot now?!

Hi John,

Hopefully we'll be back up for torque tube rebuilds by then.

Just check with us before you dismantle your 928!

Cheers,

Welcome to the area. Atlanta has a modestly sized, but very active group. Feel free to reach out if you need any help with the move or the transition in general.

Hello Constantine,
I look forward to having you nearby. What part of the Atlanta area will you be relocating to? I live in the NE of Gwinnett County.

Welcome

You powder coat the tubes as part of the recon?

I'll email you directly. Guess you haven't started the R&R of it yet?

Yes, we dismantle, inspect, clean and powder coat the bodies before re-assembly. We will also epoxy coat the drive shaft if needed.

Here is a picture of a 944 TT with the powder coat treatment too.

It just really gives you a finished product.

Best of luck to you in your new location. I have one of your clamps on my car and it is one thing I do not worry about! You provide an invaluable service for anyone with a 928.

As a former Florida resident for many years, welcome to Georgia! We have a small active group here, with many 928s in the ATL area.

Constantine,

I spent a few years in Cartersville (used to work down old river road) - it's a pretty nice town! Check out the Appalachian grill.....great food!

I'd looked at a set of your bearings to replace them in a 5speed TT I've got....are you going to be shipping until sept or should I contact you now if I want to order?

There's some pretty good vendors in the area (we used A&D machine shop at work) and also Larry Smith in Rome was great when I needed a land rover v8 block sorting.....

If you need any assistance with finding your way around - let me know.

Good luck

Neil

Thanks everyone for the kind words and welcomes!

Looking forward to the move.

Neil,

Thanks for the information on Cartersville! Been hearing some good things about the town so we are hopeful.

As far as BSRD operations, we'll try shipping out Super Bearings and Super Clamps as long as we can before shutting down our operations in Florida. Should be into this September, but do please contact us by email if you want to get a set of our 928 Super Bearings so we can schedule it in for you.

Cheers,
