Those cameras are WIDE angle reversing cameras.... totally unsuitable for normal rear view vision as per interior mirror.... wrong lenses etc...

I think you've missed the main point: dual TFT screens in the mirror and therefore the ability to have a proper all round view of what is behind you.

Sorry but you are wrong... why do you think that car manufacturers design cars with ONE interior mirror...
With the correct lens in the camera , it makes ONE screen as CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET to an interior mirror...
Mine works perfectly and has done for years.....if you looked at two screens at once, I dont think anyones brain could handle it in the fraction of a second that you usually use to glance in a rearview... and you have not got enough time, when you are driving to take the extra second or so when you are meant to be looking forward...
