Funny this car looks the same as an 86 that was posted as hand built in the USA. And that was going in the paint shop too.

We had a similar car on CL in St. Louis, we were laughing because the owner was selling what looked to be a '84 as an "excellent" 1986 "GTS".
Two weeks later it was back on the market as an 1985 "GT".
Not sure what became of it but points for creativity.

Hmmm.... looks like it could be a Euro, too! (JK!!!)
(My PO & seller were trying to tell me mine was a Euro! An example: "See... it has the 928S steering wheel, it's a Euro!")
I think it may often be a case of non-928 literate sellers not knowing what they really do have... as opposed to faking it, if they knew what they had, they could- for lack of a better word- pimp it more appropriately.
