I completed my overhaul/rebuild/refresh of my brakes and related suspension components.
Heres what I did
replated the F/R calipers, backing plates, suspension hardware, rotors
installed new seals in the caliper kits
painted, cleaned and repacked Axles
replaced rear wheel bearings
painted rear lower control arm
installed stainless Goodridge brake lines
inspected front bearings
brake fluid flush

I am sooo confused! I brought my brake calipers for replating to another plating company who were willing to give it a try (remember me saying the plating company refused to do the calipers?). I have got the same brake calipers as pictured. The second company tried to zinc plate them before adding the yellow plating but with no succes. The zinc just wouldn't stick. Could it be that in the US certain chemical processing is allowed that are no longer allowed in the EU?
