.. just being an instigator..
Some really great times and a damn good excuse to get out of the house for a while. Tim got to meet my family up there before our group arrived -- but thats another story.

Good times. Here's some more. These are all from 2008, which I am thinking was the last SATL. I miss those guys and hope they are doing well.
Nothing to see here, folks...
Here's Cheryl and the Beast: (story here, stuff of legends... )

If you have been married a long time you will completely understand the next few minutes, if not you will eventually be divorced and lonely.

Still the 951 kid of the bunch.. Few of that group left around..
I bet I can count the ex-928 owners I knew -- few of those are left also.
Great pics Jim, very cool!

Hands down THE best 928 event(s) ever done and sadly 2008 was the last one. Amy and I paid a visit to Tim and Cheryl a couple of years ago during a visit to Lake Tahoe and they simply no longer have the time or energy to run the event, not to mention I believe they no longer own either of their 928's any more. The first SATL will always remain my favorite event of all time. There were only @ 13 participants, but all were great people and a wonderful time was had by all, I am certain.

Bill,
They still have both their 928s. Tim was at Sharks at the Park this month with the 94 GTS. Though both are for sale for the right price.
