17 Ft.lbs is good... With blue Loctite on the bolts.
Did you put blue Loctite too on the clamp bolt?

Always do.

Hello Bertrand - I did not...but I did see your post earlier in this thread just before I posted my update . Darn... The PKlamp instructions only specify the blue stuff for the PKlamp bolts. Nothing for the factory clamp. I'm picking up the Loctite and the Allen socket tomorrow (I hope...it's Sunday). Also need a large clean funnel and some clear hose - refilling the auto trans after replacing filter and gasket. My last under-the-car jobs before Frenzy. Fingers crossed for no leaks.
