Setting the timing belt slightly ahead?
Time to adjust my timing belt after about 1000 miles. I recall a note some time back that suggested a slight advancement of the adjustment. Can't find that note. Anybody out there want to comment? The timing belt always seems to turn on a discussion. Thanks all.

If you are discussing the belt tension adjustment, it is a check, usually no "adjustment" is required, but the tensioner might need tightening. You may be referring to an actual cam timing advance adjustment, which is really not needed for a stock engine, unless you plan some dyno tuning for max HP.
I would not touch cam timing advance if nothing has been changed in the engine.
Don't go lookng to complicate a simple belt tension check.
