Also known as 'shift slip' - the trans does not shift firmly into 3rd from 2nd. Sounds like you are experiencing that.

Agree... so as to the second part of my question, would buying the k1 spring kit fix that problem?

I'll wait for a confirmation that purchasing the kit is known to remedy a slipping 2-3 shift. Appreciate your help, Randy.

Do some searches - I think you'll find that this is a known fix for that issue.
