I am assuming this is a bad relay, as in the below threads, but please jump in if I am wrong, before I spend the $$$ on a new ( or used) relay:

I turn on the defog, and it seems to work, but defog never shuts off, even when I turn off the car. The switch stays illuminated ( and the battery drains), and, even more interesting, if you push in the switch, like you would to engage the 15 min defrost mode, it lights up the whole dash:


BTW, I saw the relay repair thread. Not sure I want to go that route...
