For the 928ers that are near Charlotte, the 1st Saturday is also Cars-n-Coffee at the NC Music Factory. It will be my first "1st Saturday" off in quite a while and I am planning to attend. Harvey Yancey will be there too... with his newly acquired silver euro!
That's TOMORROW folks! Let's have a large 928 turnout!

Just received an email from local PCA stating that due to "conflicts with CIAA tournament functions at the NC Music Factory, the regular Cars-n-Coffee will be held March 8 -not March 1."
Dammit... I probably won't get 2 Saturdays in a row off.

Michael, you should know that the event at Waverly has been cancelled (due to bad behavior of some in attendance).
It looks like they are working on an alternative location (and hopefully you didn't make the trek this month!).
Sharks In The Mountains is this weekend if you want to shoot up to "see the sharks" as an unregistered drop in, I don't think anyone would be terribly upset but they usually like you to register in advance.
Maybe we should just have a spontaneous event in Greensboro and just invite folks to drive down for coffee and a pastry and say hello on a Saturday morning?

I didn't. Was going to drop in on SITM today but was sick. I'm happy to host and I could call a few restaurants if we want a formal GTG-Tex & Shirley's has great breakfast,

I'm sort of in a driving state of mind... After dropping the rear suspension and transmission to replace a blown seal, I've put over 1250 miles on the 928 in the last month... Loving it.
I'll ping Neil and see if we can't get something stirring.
Breakfast GTG sounding really good!

Tex & Shirley's, haha, my niece's favorite spot. No need for formality the Whole foods 100 yards away has ton's of parking and 50 seats and covered tables outside that are very enjoyable on a Saturday morning. Greensboro is a large place with much to see and some nice roads. It also has a Cars & Coffee once a month that is so far free of idiots with an incredible variety of cars. I think the WF's meet would be nice for all NC 928's but I will not hold my breath.

I like Tex & Shirley's lot because it's not as heavily travelled by entitled SUV drivers (ourselves included) trying to buy the latest "Whole Foods" crap--also no speed bumps or shopping carts! The back side is pretty empty and secluded for brekkers.
