Default Mac brand soft lug socket $13 shipped on ebay

Set of 19mm and 21mm soft lug sockets, Mac a truck brand, $13 shipped on ebay. I just bought a set, made in Taiwan, but look good with a nylon insert to protect lug nuts. Says 100 ftlbs and no impact use, hand only.

no affiliation.

I am usually pretty zealous about protecting my nuts but I am not sure I see the need. Thanks for the post though. Good deals on MAC tools are good indeed.

So are those thin wall regular dimension sockets? They look as thick as impacts. Can be a problem with some rims.

OD of the 19mm is 27mm, metal seems thin but hard to tell how much is metal and how much is the nylon. Looking at it the total material reminds me of a thin wall impact, which is much thicker than a 12 pt socket, but these are 6 pt that "look" thicker due to the wide flats.

Never use it with an impact. Haven't checked the fit yet, but not the only 19mm socket I own.
