Bang...... right between the eyes!!
There I was, minding my own business, sauntering down the asphalt side road at a mild-mannered 100 mph. Not a soul on the road for miles and miles....... and then this lonely pick-em-up truck appears on the crest of the distant hill. Nothing unusual in that. He gets larger and larger and zip.... he's gone......... except for this tiny, little speck........ of gravel......... in the air........
Then BANG!! right off the rearview mirror mount in the center of the windshield!! and one GREAT BIG FRICKIN' 10 inch diameter STAR right in the middle of everything!!
Bet this is gonna cost more than $20.00!!

Just finished waxing my car with Zaino, you need to do three coats, so I finally finished and my cars hood looked like a mirror. As I'm driving these two Harley guys get in front of me and as we approach the under pass they gun it. Which in turn scared the **** out of the pigeons which were relaxing and I mean scared the **** out of them. Just finished wiping the rest of it off my car. Thanks Guys, Reno

I guess Bryan you can actually tell people you drive a 928-SPYDER...Just show them the web....Tough one, will the insurance cover it?
My 84 has the original wind screen and all the porsche decals that were factory and such, and if yours had all that you would lose them. Yeah, I'd be angry too...Good-luck

John -
I know EXACTLY which ramp you're talking about (the same one you were turning onto when you spotted me Tuesday).
I think it's time to put your shark away till you change ALL your hoses. Let me know if you need help. If nothing else I can open the brews.

Drifting
Absolutly. No doubt every gearhead in the area knows about that on ramp. You can do the other side (rt-32 east onto I-97 south) just as quick or quicker, but its not as secluded from outside traffic and you cant get the thill of a standing start like the other one.

Burning Brakes
I was driving my Fiero home from work about 6 months ago and as I approached my offramp, I heard a crack on my windshield.
I cursed out loud and searched the glass for the break ----- there wasn't one? I relaxed and was content in the fact that I had dodged a trip to the autoglass repair shop.
About 30 seconds later, as I rounded the offramp, I heard another crack on the windshield and there it was, a one inch diameter chunk taken out of the glass.
I guess Murphy wanted a second chance at taking out my windshield.

Three Wheelin'
FWIW,
I just purchased a new tinted windshield with antenna for $570.00.from the local Safelite auto glass shop.
I'm storing it for the future. I may install it this winter when I paint my car.
