It looks really beautiful - but it also looks very low to the ground. My car was lowered like this, initially, and it didn't handle very well. Once the ride height was corrected, the car handled so much better!

The ride height looks about right to me. I adjusted it in 2012 to about 165 front and 170 rear. I can see about two finger widths between the tire and wheel well arch in the front which correlates to about 165.

Drifting
This one really hurts, only at $8100 w/ 16 hours left.
If not up to my eyeballs in mortgages right now i'd take this car.
I can't help but think that these opportunities
won't be around much longer.

If all it did was display the tire pressure it would be awesome, but that's not how it works. This one may have had a bad sensor or god know what because it was always showing a low tire pressure warning regardless of tire pressure. During its short tenure the RDK system was notorious for requiring what most consider excessive tire pressures as well as being generally unreliable like this one. Porsche gave up and discontinued it after a couple of years.

The winning bidder has very little history. Hope the sale goes through - it would be a sensation, as I don't think any other 91 S4 has sold for even close to that much in the recent past.

Burning Brakes
I wouldn't call a feedback of 70 "very little". It takes two to bid the price up, and the second place bidder has 356 feedback, so you would hope that the sale will go through.

On one end it's common for the sensors to disintegrate when trying to remove the tire valve (the sensor is built into the valve). Many tire places have already added the cost of new valves to every job, anticipating the sensors will fail upon removal.
There are Problems with the ECU's that monitor the sensors. Erroneous readings, losing signal etc.....
Many aftermarket diagnostic computers cannot reset the system, this means you are married to the dealer for even a simple tire rotation. Friend of mine paid the dealer $100 to reset his system after installing the spare tire on his SUV.
All in the name of safety.....
It makes you wonder how much the companies who make the sensors lobbied the DOT for the new law.
rant....

We tend forget that we live in a little bubble of auto enthusiasts, who know how to maintain a car. The majority of drivers has absolutely no clue. Quite often, they have been burned by mechanics in the past and don't trust them. Or they have gotten bad advicie from friends...
Just yesterday, a friend asked on Facebook what the "Service Engine Soon" light means. Her car wasn't running right, and she was worried about getting home. There were multiple responses telling her it was time to get the oil changed in her car.
Now, do you think she has ever checked the tire pressure in her life? At least, a warning light may catch her attention before she spins out and hits and hurts someone!
Oh, here is another story: An ex-coworker of mine complained that she had two flat tires in a few days. When I went outside to look at her tires, only one that had even remotely enough air. They were all bald or semi-bald; one showed the cords. I told her she needed new tires, and watch the pressure. Her answer? "I have put tires on this car twice, I'm not going to do it again! I'm a safe driver; nothing is going to happen."
I'm not even sure making this part of the driving test would help in such cases.
PS: I wonder, if this car had a pressure warning system... ouch!

Wow! That sales price has got to be a record for a 91 S4 anytime in last 5 or 6 years and a LOT more than I sold it for 2 years ago. Give credit to the flashy eBay ad. I thought the current owner was going to keep it, but for that money, he must be very happy it's gone.
