Does the bulb burning out do anything bad to the car? If not, just let them burn out, problem solved.

Being able to worry about the brake pad warning light on a parts car is a pretty good problem to have!

Black electricians tape will keep you from seeing them.

Are you trying to preserve them from burning out in your parts car in case your regular car needs them? If so, remove them from your parts car.

I don't understand the question/problem. If it is on a parts car, it isn't running and the brakes aren't wearing and the sensor will never be tripped.

If the sensor is in place on a running car you can disable the system by carefully remove the sensor from the pad w/needle nose pliers. If the plastic is already worn down, you can splice the wires together completing the circuit and Tape it up so it is out of the way.

Either way this doesn't involve removing the pod.
