Hi,

I just have a simple question regarding the lower quarter moulding of the rear side windows :

are there different types, meaning different materials in the moulding?

I currently have light weight aluminium moulding, coated with a black plastic layer, while the early cars have heavy aluminium moulding painted black.

From what year did they use a plastic coating instead of paint on the moulding?

I need to know this since I am missing a lower moulding and want to order the correct one.
