I am planning to attend this event this year and plan to leave out Friday, late afternoon or early Saturday morning. When are you Chicagoland area guys heading out? Maybe we can convoy!

I don't have a block of rooms. I was too late this time to get them there. There are lots of hotels so you won't get shut out.

563-557-7829
off the arterial but on HWY20 about a mile from arterial
Comfort Inn about $70/night
4055 McDonald Dr
Dubuque, IA 52003
563-556-3006
Hampton Inn Dubuque about $90/night
3434 Dodge St
Dubuque, IA 52003
563-690-2005
Fairfield Inn Dubuque about $90/night

Jeff - just a suggestion - can you check which hotel can offer a block of rooms so we all stay in the same place?

Jeff, thanks for the PM about this event. I think I can make it, albeit in a 996 that I'm hoping everyone will treat as an honorary Shark for the weekend.
Also, thanks for hosting a Porsche event right here in Dubuque. It really is a great place for it!

I'm sorry to report I have just had something come up with my wife, and I will not be able to attend. Myles from our shop is still thinking of driving over in his '79 928 just to shoot the breeze with you guys.

Depending on how many people show up, we can watch a movie friday night in my theater at home. I can comfortably accommodate 11. 13 if two want to sit on folding chairs in back of theater by popcorn machine.

I did get a new radiator put in. Another Aluminum design from 928MS, It does seem a better design than the CR racing unit I previously had. I'll be there with the 928.
