It's all good - nobody has an issue with anybody running a business. What has some thinking less charitably about what you are apparently doing is that the rennlist rules require you to be a sponsor in order to promote your business. I get the sense that the message about your site (both here and on bird) is being very carefully parsed so that you can adapt it at any time to a different model (which is fine, that's your business), but do so without having to pay up here. If you are using us to beta test your model before going to market, tell us. Don't play us for rubes.

Trying to be objective about this, Michael doesn't make it easy, what with his reluctance to disclose. IIRC there already is a search engine out there that does this. Perhaps this is easier to use, have fun looking at the pictures. Be that as it may, the database is Craigs List. Lots of bottom feeders on there. Lots of dead ends. Do your research, selling and/or buying is not necessarily fun. Are you willing to take time off from work and drive 500 miles to check out those fuzzy pictures?
Also there are the usual caveats about going alone to a CL appt.
There could be that one gem on there, the fire sale, the divorce-forced liquidation. YMMV.

FYI Site now updated 4 times a day, old listings removed, new ones added every 6 hours.
