Friends,
'87S4 - Automatic- * Fuel lines already replaced months back*
I have parked the car until this is solved.
Lately I've been smelling fuel especially from a spirited or aggressive start off the line or from a light or stop sign nothing too crazy. I'm smelling fuel fumes while in the cabin that dissipate as I speed up.
6 months ago I bought Roger's kit and replaced the lines.
I smell fuel especially after she's warmed up. After shutting off the car, I can smell fuel at the cowl from the outside. So to me it's likely fuel lines that I replaced. Yesterday I took the air box off to see if there were any obvious leaks/drips but didn't see any. I did tighten a couple of band clamps, screws a little loose. After this I still smelled fuel
So should I just, re-do all of the connections?

Charcoal canister vapor capture system - likely the plastic Y has busted - behind the wheel in passenger fender (take out the splash shield & wheel well liner)

The Y-connector seems to be the common culpit, however, on my car I was notcing fuel smell and observed slight leak where fuel injector hose met the injector. Added FI hose clamps to the barb hoses and solved the issue. Take a close look at all the injector connections, especially where the hose meets the injector.

Not to correct you, but to save confusion, I hope.

Only 80-84 US cars have that short hose. All other ears and models either have hard lines to injectors or plug right into the fuel rail.
The most common culprit is the y connector, check there first.

Don't drive it until you are sure. Did you have this fuel smell before installing the fuel hose kit? If you over tighten the clamps you can split the hose.
