I really hate to do this, but my 928 is for sale. $13,500.00
Vin #WP0JB0924HS862317. Black with tan and black interior. Everything works perfectly. Automatic transmission. NO cracks in dash, one crack in pod. Sunroof. Black carpets and floor mats (both front and rear mats). High end car cover. No dents or dings, however paint is a little thin in a few areas - only noticeable if you really look. Front seats show some minor wear. I have a 2" 3-ring binder with all receipts, records, and other miscellaneous items.
I at 63,219 miles, I had a thorough mechanical service by Devek. This resulted in $5,200 dollars and an invoice listing three pages of parts. Some major items included: New front and rear shock absorbers, adjust ride height, transmission cooler lines replaced, new coolant hoses, new idle speed regulator, and much more. In addition, air conditioner was fully refurbished: Condenser, expansion valve and receiver drier replaced and system recharged.
At about 65,000 miles, timing belt was replaced (just as a precaution, we did not know if the previous owner had ever tensioned the belt).
Other replaced items: Kingsborne 8 mm Ignition wire set, stock front spoiler, Devek aluminum belly pan, caps and rotors, battery (purchased 6/1/12), new tires at 70,900 miles, window switches, rear sun visors, driver's side door handle inner workings, red door safety lights, and more.
Stock items: jack, spare tire, rear hatch full tool kit, glove box manuals, fuse panel chart, two (2) keys with Porsche lighted key heads, (9) volume factory manual, cargo net.
Email me at eschutz13@hotmail.com for more information.
Oh, and there's a few bugs on the front bumper. The car's been fully detailed since these pictures have been taken.
Thanks, Beth

Hang on!!! There's been THREE smog checks and it passed fine on the third. I can send the results to anyone who wants to see them. And this is the reason we are selling the car. It sits in the garage under its cover and never gets driven - which is the WORST! We had to drive it to get it blown out to pass smog. When driven regularly - or even semi regularly it passes smog fine.

Sweet ride! Good luck to you, they need to be exercised regularly for best health, like anything else.

Hi Beth: Sorry that you have to give it up, but I understand about the not driving... I'm kind of in the same boat these days!
Nothing that Earl Scheib couldn't fix... ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
No, seriously, you could have it wrapped in the color of your choice. Since it's black, it would look pretty natural, even when opening doors or the hood.

color combination.
Black is very popular if in good condition as your car obviously is.
I would get it detailed (clay bar or machine polished) and then re photograph it.
The front looks like it has a lot of fine scratches in the pics. Maybe dead bugs..
Black is a tough color, it must be really right.
Not everyone should try to machine polish though. Have a pro do it.

I will take new photos. We did spend a few hundred dollars getting it professionally detailed just a week ago and I haven't taken new pics. By the time I get home it's dark, but this weekend I'll get some new pics posted. Car looks amazing since being detailed. I might have rushed to post it for sale before taking new pics, but heck, oh well.
