How long was the single stage painting used on 928? Was it only for Uni colors?

Short answer is that some single stage colors were used through 1993 (and likely '95 for those same colors). Here's Porsche's chart on paint formulations by year and color- U1 is single stage, M2 is two-stage metallic. P2 is two stage Pearl, and WXX is water-based paint, two stage, with either solid, metallic or pearl base coat.

Hi Rob, cany chance please of decoding VIN WP0ZZZ92ZCS800080
Just got my self a 1982 4.5lt RHD 928, with no history or what it left the factory with
Not New Zealand new, am leaning to UK import as has Miles speedo/ODO
No sign of option code anywhere
Its been modified with S4 parts, pretty sure it started life brown now black
It goes really well but needs lots of TLC to bring it back to its former glory
A good project car for me to fill in the evenings

Thanks in advance.
