That's a '99 996. I think you realized we can only decode 928s here. Good luck with the IMS bearing!

The short answer is no- I have no experience with 996s. Is there no listing of the option codes on some sticker under the trunk or somewhere else (maybe in the owner's manual/warranty booklet?)

The RL 996 buyer's guide says it should be on the underside of the hood:

This is such a great thing that you do for members. If you could help with a car I'm currently purchasing I would really appreciate it. I have asked the owner for a picture of the build label in the spare tire area and he supplied this picture, but I see no options. It is a 5-speed, so it should at least show option code M481? I'm hoping it's also missing M220?

I don't see a U.S. car with that VIN, not sure how there would be a WP0A. However, There is an 82 German Euro with the following VIN and options:

Unfortunately that particular VIN falls within one of the few gaps in coverage in the database. The nearest VINs in the range of U.S. '85's are

I briefly owned a U.S. '85 that also fell between the cracks (WP0JB0927FS860820), which lies between FS860809
and FS860830 in the database.
