thanks for the decode Samuel, i broke these cars a few years ago and i was looking for any info on the interior colour, i posted a thread on here a couple of days ago about it
About 5 mins after i posted for the decode i remembered i would need to ask local OPC for that information.

Finished the 27th of March 1992, but delivered to a customer only the 23rd of September 1993. It was certainly built with the French yellow lights, but delivered with the white ones, which were mandatory in France since the 1st of January 1993.
It may have been used as a company car or stayed in a showroom for some time.

 

New to me 83’ 928s and missing option sticker from hatch and dealer never put it in the owners manual or warranty book.

You may remember that my car is another of those early 83 models with option code I405. Do you know if those were the first cars built for 1983? My latest theory is that perhaps this was the factory's way of making the spoilers, etc. of the previous "competition group" standardized and the first cars off the line had the option, and then at some point it was taken off of the label since all 83 cars had it?

Just continuing to think out loud. I have never found anything different on my car that I would expect would be related.
