Awesome, thanks for doing this. I just pick up an 82, but little to no info on option or history. Intro and more details on my purchase to follow soon. For now, here is my VIN WP0JA0924CS822492. Would love to know more about the specs

Cheers
Robert

The M462 option code suggests this is a Weissach edition car. And a cool one, LSD, 5-speed, no sunroof. Is there a Weissach plaque on the dash? If so, what's the # on it?

Interesting, a German market Euro S with the high horsepower German M28.22 but with the shorter Swiss/Swedish final drive ratio. Cool combination!

Also, if by any miracle the original amplifier is still in it, could you shoot a picture of it? Always been curious about the supposed '86 only' Blaupunkt amp, should be a BQB-80.

92A0820296
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=92A0820296
1980 S
C16 - UK market (RHD)

000000- No engine code but should be M28.11, engine serial # range 820 0001>1000
G00000 - Not sure whether this should be G28.03 or G28.05, I'm guessing .03 as this is a relatively early '80S. If you check the transmission serial #, post it here for reference.

M058 - "Impact absorbers front and rear, Bumper with shock absorber instead of
shock absorber-tube"
M197 - Stronger battery (88 Ah)
M437 - 6-way Comfort seat left, electrically adjustable, 78-84
M438 - 6-way Comfort seat right, electrically adjustable, 78-84
