Can you help me with this one? Would like to find out if it’s an early 87 with squirt block or flip up wing.

Hello, I'm new to this forum, I own a Macan 2.0 TFSi and wanted to buy a RaceChip for it, for some reason, I tried to decode myVIN # on a few websites without any luck, maybe someone here can help me.
The only thing I need is to get to know the power of my 2.0 TSFi engine, there are 3 different variations over that engine, 237HP/174kW, 245HP/180kW and 252HP/185kW

This is my VIN # WP1ZZZ95ZHLB00323

Thanks in advance!

None of the below data lets you know about squirters, you'll have to have a look at the engine serial number. And since this is an automatic, it'll be a guess at best. The last 5-speed '87 engine with squirters was 81H00677.

There were 2421 US market '87 cars built, 548 5-speeds and 1873 automatics. So car #1744 is 3/4 of the way through the year, so I think it's unlikely that it has a squirter block. Erkka has calculated that the squirter blocks ended about US automatic #1300 +/- 100 or so. https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...in-number.html

Hi Polak (any relation to Vasek?) I'm afraid we don't have any VIN info on cars other than 1980-95 928s. I would contact your local Porsche service department and ask them to look up the VIN in the PPN network, they ought to be able to tell you the exact engine configuration for that VIN.
