Hi everybody,

I just aquired an '86 928 with manual transmission.
I can however not find the option list anywhere. The label in the trunk only says C00.
Is it possible for one of you to run my vin?
Vin: WP0ZZZ92ZGS841011

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Wow, that is perfect. That's the pinnacle of 16V 928's. Wonder if it has full leather interior?

It also has the S4 brakes/suspension package (and it will have ABS).

Hi,

Thank you very much that was quick. Thanks.
And what delightful news. The car is fully stock and in great shape.
I'm pretty sure it has ABS, but I think the breaks are larger than normal 928 (pre face lift).
Yes it has full leather interior. All in all it is in pretty good shape. Of cause the driver seat is worn on the side support from getting in and out. Also on hot days an air bobble accures under the roof lining.

It has done 153.000 km and has been sitting in a garage for the last 15 years.
The former owner (my dad) has however taken it out every summer and started it up and driven approximately 500 km (a tank of gas) to keep et going.

Thanks for the information, this really made my day.

We'd all love to see some pics. It sounds like a very nice example, and reasonably low kms too How about starting a thread to introduce yourself and tell the story of the car.

Great
Put the pics in your introduction thread, that way everyone gets to see them, not just those who check this thread.

All models outside the USA for the same large Brembo 4-piston brake calipers from 1986 to 1991. Much better than the single-piston floating calipers found on the earlier 928's

Not exact same. There are three different versions of S4 calipers.

You're right of course. My favourites are the ones from late '88 to end of '89. Classy raised Porsche lettering instead of decals, but still with the later kind of dust seals

I forgot that version. There are actually four different setups then.
