You are the man! If the GTS doesn't happen tonight I am buying it tomorrow. Plus you and I are neighbors I am in the great planned community myself

I was under the impression GT's were manual only?

They are. That's what the "G" in the G28.55 means. If it was an auto (and therefore not a GT) the trans would start with an "A".

Pictures of the '91 in question would be worth thousands of words.

Beautiful looking car, but that has rub strips. Just from those two pictures, it could be a 90 or a '91, with a roof antenna, a twin tip exhaust, Cup 1 wheels (they look factory, but am not 100% sure), Aero mirrors, red calipers, and drilled rotors. Bunch of (desirable) mods.

Need an interior pic and pic of the VIN tag, ideally, to have any confidence about what 'it' is.

I thought you were in favor of getting an auto? The clutch in a GT can be heavy, if driving stick is uncomfortable, it's really uncomfortable in traffic on the 405...

I sent you the ad via PM. This is a Auto. The owner told me he considered removing the rub strips but decided against it. I sent you the VIN that is in the ad...I am totally confused because if you look at the ad it will really make you wonder wtf.

You did. Rob added a couple digits. The VIN in the ad only has 15 digits. It's missing a couple. Ad says ...ms8101, Rob ran ...ms810101

Nice looking car.

Little pricey for an auto with 100k on it, but very nice condition. (value is pretty subjective)

Thanks. Sort of like filling in the DNA ala' Jurassic Park and boom it's a GT.

It has a full re-spray which was 13k and another 17k in other rest work. I have checked out the paperwork and spoke to the painter & mechanic.

The GTS guy is being a PITA ( his broker) like pulling teeth with the back and forth. Well I check the white one tomorrow and then decide.
