Opinions on my cam gears, re-coat?

Hi Everyone.
I read good things about Finishline Coatings. However, I am in Canada and am looking for a good Canadian provider of dry-film lubricant (also the Canadian dollar is worth only about 72cents US!). I need the 2 cam gears and the oil pump gear re-coated. I saw Fireball Coatings in Ontario...??.
Any ideas? Thanks.

What do we know about the contribution of environment to the life of the gear coating? Is there more wear in places where blowing abrasive dust is common? The desert southwest versus Ontario?

FYI I just bought from the local dealer a new set, with my PCA discount it was around $500 CAD for both gears which is a good price vs recoating and it would be a steal for our American friends considering the value of the USD...

I wonder if anyone has tried coating the cam gears with a home applied DFL coating?

Water pump has failed, leaking badly at the main shaft. Cam gears UGH.
Plan:
New cam gears
New water pump
Rebuild stock tensioner
Front main seal
New steel oil pump gear
Oil pump seal and o-rings
But glad the pump failed in my driveway.
And yes Fireball does a molly coating that works well. Last set I did where $80 for the pair IIRC.
