Also, if you run tires on these wheels that are close to the same width front and rear the balance of the car is just SO MUCH BETTER than stock too! I have 245 front and 255 rear on my '95 and LOVE the way that car handles!

Add me to the list. Got a set of 5-spokes on ebay yesterday for $395.
I'd still prefer an OEM set of Cup 1's or 2's in 17" but they seem to be rarer than hen's teeth and I'm not keen on the incorrect offsets in the replicas.

18x9 ET53 Rear
For reference, the 17" Cup wheels are
7.5x17 ET65 (tire size 225/45-17) Front
9x17 ET55 (tire 255/40-17 w/35mm spacer) Rear

And another
Picked up a set of Panamera wagon wheels last week in the States. You’d be surprised what will fit in a suitcase.
Hankook V12 evo 2s; took James’ advice with 245/40 & 255/35. Very happy—thanks James! Like a cat on carpet.

^^ nice choice, although with the rear flare of the GTS you could easily run 275's in the back.
Just be warned, they can be a little annoying to clean, but all you really need is a soapy rag and water.
A huge perk is that they lift the car so far off the ground it makes it very hard to bottom out, saving your alternator and A/C compressor, and your spoiler should get less rubbing too.

10 spoke for the track - rear offset & spacer thoughts
I'm waiting on a set of 10 spoke Panamera wheels to come back from the powdercoater. Even though it's a track car, I wanted a nice look. Gunmetal Steel Pearlescent should look great on a silver car
I'm likely going with Toyo Proxes R888's. 245/40 on the front; 275/35 on the rears. Only a 22-23mm diameter gain vs stock; as well as good front to back circumference ratio vs. stock (I want my ABS to work).
My question relates to rear spacers and offset. I realize that the rear 53ET is perfect, but the 9" width leaves some meat on the table so to speak. I'm told that the wheel will likely take a 275, but I'd like to widen the stance a bit by bringing the rears out 10-20mm or so.
Rob O has 10 spokes with 21mm factory spacers on the rears of his S. He said that he needed to do some gentle fender rolling to fit 275's on the back. I'm fine with doing that with this S4 but I'm wondering if the 32ET that 21mm spacers get you to in the rear would have adverse effects on handling and/or tracking. I know that front offset is critical for steering/tracking geometry, but what about deviating from the rear offset by more than -15mm?
Anyone else have spacers on the rears with Panamera wheels?
The nice thing about this is that I experiment with spacer width to see what works - and go back to no spacer if I need to.
