CHANGE OF PLANS

We have a good problem. The response to this event has been so good this year, we’ve outgrown the capacity of pub we had planned to go to. I was thinking we’d have 20-25, but we are already over 30 this year. I expect some no-shows, but I also think there are a few more coming that I haven’t heard from yet.

So…In an effort to stay in the general area, (vs going across the freeway), I’ve changed our reservations to Grotto’s at 9595 Six Pines, 77380 (281-419-4252). We will have two tables with seating for 15 each in the main dining area and another round table nearby on reserve for 8. Maybe some of the out-of-towners could park on the roof earlier in the day and scope out the parking options.

Grotto's has happy hour until 7, but not in the dining area, so I set our dinner reservations at 6, and we can hang out in the bar area from whenever we get there, probably about 5:15, until 6, then move to the dining area at 6 and order dinner.

For parking, let’s move to the other parking garage in the area, which is closer to Grotto’s and highlighted with an "P" on the NEW map below. Grotto's marked with an "X". We’ll try to park together on the roof as before, on the end toward the restaurant (east). If it’s raining, park in the next level down. Meet at the parking garage between 4-4:30, head to the restaurant at 5-5:30.

If your car is down for some reason, don’t let that stop you from coming out and socializing with this great group of owners.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone, and we’ll have some out of town guests as well. (Roger and Tony have RSVP'ed so far, and there may be a few more)

Now called "Hyatt Market Street" Same hotel, new name. Dinsdale has JP & is fine tuning a few things. If she's ready we will bring it up. T

A Woodlands local informed me that Google placed Grotto's in the wrong place on the map, so I've replaced the map in the first post, and moved the parking to the other end of the garage (east). Gotto's highlighted with a "X", parking highlighted with a "P".

I think just Roger and Zane from DFW. Tony is driving up from Rockport and Herman is a maybe from Rockport. Tom from Austin will be there as well. Hope you can make it. We are up to about 34 people now and 17 cars.
