Tom,

Sorry to hear you can't make it. Hope it's nothing serious.

Tony,

Looking forward to seeing you and Beachy's new color.

This turned out to be the largest Houston 928 gathering ever... 17 cars and about 32 people. The new setup worked out pretty well. Lots of parking space on the roof of the garage, and dinner at Grotto's was tasty!

Thanks to everyone who came out, especially the out of towners like Roger/Zane, Tony, and Stretch (Katy is a long haul from the Woodlands)

We actually had a professional photographer and former 928 owner present (thanks Mark (MBMB)) with some awesome equipment, including a quad-copter with built in GoPro camera. There should be some great aerial shots and video from it, and a good group shot in the restaurant.

Here's a few pics I took, more video to come.

AWESOME EVENT! Don, next year lets get the info to the 928 Owners Club a little sooner and get some shirts or something made for this!

That copter looks cool! What a great idea for big event pics!

Tony, I always LOVE seeing Just Beachy! What a car man!!! I see Roger brought the GTS! NICE!

Really like the interloper Aston in the pic! Maser GT and Aston Vantage and DB9 are some of the most beautiful cars on the market today and fit well with a bunch of 928's! They look almost as nice as the 928's!

Default Video

I got a new GoPro for Christmas and took it to the event. It doesn't do very well in low light, but it was fun to pass the tiny camera around at dinner. It also works well mounted on a pole looking down on the cars. I haven't seen any video yet from the quad-copter.

Don, thank you for organizing this. Jennifer and I enjoyed it.

Here's something John Henley put together from aerial video, hand-held video, and stills:

Ole,

It is definitely growing. You need to make it back down again!

Mark,

The video from John is awesome. Thanks for setting that up. The drone does a great job. Amazing how steady the video is. I want one.

Don that looks like a lot of fun. Wish I had made it but had to work today. If you would consider a Saturday next year, I'll be there!

Shawn & Roy - see you at the next Concours.

Happy New Year!

Don - thanks for putting this together. Stuart and I had a blast checking out all the cars - each as individual as its owner! Sorry we couldn't make dinner - hopefully next time.
