I wish Big Mike had more time off from work, I would love for me, him and mikey to take a long trip up there with the camper. Unfortunately Big Mike barely has enough vacation days left to use for Christmas Break so he won't be coming at all.
Midnight chili should would be good up there in the crisp mountain air, not to mention having mike there to serve up a few liters of my Killer Sangria from his Jet Back Pack!

Bummer Laura. I was looking forward to the chili in the cool Canadian night air... You guys will be missed!
Just looking at Google maps... this will be an epic 928 road trip. 29 hours per Google maps at road posted speeds..... Anyone want to venture a guess on the actual road time (not including over night stay) from start to finish? I'll give it a guess at 20 hours one way.

That would have us leaving on Wednesday morning, overnight somewhere in North Colorado or Southern Wyoming and arriving Thursday night into Kananaskis. Thoughts?

If I come from Atlanta I'm looking at 39 hrs. 2460 miles one way... Does anyone think that this is to much? Or am I crazy for considering the drive?

Jeff M looked into chartering a private jet for a group of 8 which would have been an AWESOME Party plane/Jet full of GREAT FUN. But it was going to be about $12.5 K for 8 people, plus $2k for fuel surcharges PLUS other surcharges, and i dont think we could meet the "Minimum" fee for traveling by jet anyway with that short trip (short in days).
Maybe if the next car show were in Australia....
