Sharks On Ice..... Kananaskis, Canada Summer 2014
Folks, rather than rework the previous thread I'm starting anew with a tremendous announcement.
We are making great progress for our event in the Canadian Rockies next July and am very excited to publish that after many behind the scenes conversations 928sRus have signed on as the primary sponsor.
928sRus have been very much front and centre at the previous larger 928 events in Dallas and Wichita and are again stepping up with their support of the great marque and model we all hold so near and dear.
Many thanks to Roger and his fantastic team for all the encouragement, advice and experience as we move into the next phases of this exciting gathering.
For those who are just catching up:
Kananaskis Delta Hotel
Alberta, Canada
July 25,26,27 2014
the website for the event: http://www.sharks-on-ice.com/

Fantastic Jim.........for those who are new to visiting Canada I'll post a site link so you'll know what you can and cannot bring across the border.
Someone do us a favour and tell Sean to leave his guns at home!
This should do for a start: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp

Malcolm,
I will likely be able to make this. But where is it to be held?
I would be interested in doing a tech session, say on rebuilding power steering racks.

After looking at the Canadian Immigration and Visitors website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcome...goods-what.asp
I saw this one remark: Vehicles brought into Canada for personal use are duty free. Some restrictions may apply. Cars must meet Canadian safety and pollution control standards.
I'm only assuming that if you are not running cats, you might not be let into the country. Just an FYI for anyone planning on attending that might be in this situation.
