Default Air or Ground storage!

Looking for some input on which is the better storage option for 5 months.

Up and out of the way is better for space but are there any adverse effects from being off the wheels for so long?

Anyone? Colin?

Cheers!!

Steve

Best bet is to get it off the ground or send it down here to Tx for regular exercise.

Another vote for sending it to Texas so it can be driven regularly.

If that's not an option, leave it on the lift.

No mice in my shop!!!

If I see so much as a terd in there... it's a romantic night with my 12 gauge, a case of beer, a flashlight and my Neil Young collection!

Not much else to do on a long Canadian winter night!!

Thanks Sean!!!

Come and get it. I just put new rubber on it for you. 30 miles a day or so should keep it in shape.
Have it back by May 1st please!!!!

Something that sexy and you talk about putting new rubbers on it. People might begin to wonder about this passion.

At least it's protected. I figure trucking fees, attorney fees and then the US justice system should work out in my favor. That car gets anywhere near me and it will have always been here. Which means you really never owned it

Beautiful man, great car.

I thought it would have been the 12 gauge talk that got you Texans going....
Not the rubbers!

"People might begin to wonder about this passion."

Yes.. true! I have probably spent more time and money on my car than most girls I have ever met.
But if it keeps me single, great!!!

Drained, up and off sounds good. Unless there's some chance of an earthquake, you should be okay.

This is doing it the right way/ Ask me how I know.

I always put mine up on the hoist. No issues I can recall and never flat spot on the tires.

Next question since the consensus is storing the car off the ground - should you remove the wheels to reduce the weight load on the hanging suspension? I have heard that long periods in the air can wreck the shocks. Not sure if that is a real issue.

I vote for the lift. That's where mine will rest until next April. Battery minder plugged onto the post under the bonnet.

Clear film it and drive it year round.
