Hi to make the resister pack easier to work with try getting a coat hanger and bend a small hook on one end then simply slide it up under the rubber bellowsof the blower duct and hook the cage, you can hold the relay pack with a pair of needle nose pliers once you get it near the correct mounting position to reinstall the screws

If the thermal overload is triggering "wind tunnel" mode, it might be that drag from fan bearings that need lube is causing excessive current draw which makes the resistor pack heat up prematurely...

WTF is Magic Blower Syndrome? From what I can tell, I might have it. My A/C fan goes crazy sometimes and starts fluctuating its speed. It speeds way up and the volt meter in the pod will go up to about 16v at the same time. Is this MBS?

sounds like 2 things fabio. on mine, the blower will just come on, blow on high for a few seconds and go back to sleep, if it's in the off position. pod stuff is another gremlin's domain
