Too bad you have lost confidence in the GT engine. I have been happy with my chevy powered track car for the last 7 years or so. However, if I did it over again today, I would sell the old 350 small block and look for an LS style engine with all of the accessories and computers. You can buy an LS motor out of a late model Chevy truck at a great price with 300hp. Add some good heads and a cam for another 100 hp. Renegade prices are very high. Contact Kennedy engineering for the adapter plate. Other people will have the headers, radiators, ect
